- I am a co-founder of this online support network.
- This means that I am an admin, moderator, live stream and social event coordinator for all events
One of our past live streams:
Each issue is filled with positive stories from dyspraxic people, health professionals and family members. Posters with positive quotes and fun activities for all ages.
I'm a panel member...
I'm part of the global committee of people making decisions on what topics should be covered, future interview subjects, future live discussions & resources, research studies highlighted, and more in this Dyspraxia focused online magazine. This magazine is patient-focused and highlights the stories & experiences of people with Dyspraxia of all backgrounds, ages, professions, etc. The point of the magazine is to raise awareness of and encourage support for Dyspraxia in a positive but also genuine light.
Starting in October 2021, I will be joining the Dyspraxic Me board of trustees as a marketing trustee. More coming soon on my work with this London-based charity that provides peer mentorship to dyspraxic young people ages 16-25.
Jessica Kingsley Publishers
Currently, I am working with JKP on a book about growing up & living with Dyspraxia (Developmental Coordination Disorder: DCD). Everything from how DCD has affected me in childhood, my teenage years, and adulthood are explored; important sub-topics include dyspraxia at school, in the workplace, in relationships, and the more mental health side of things, such as disclosing your diagnosis and overcoming body image & self-esteem issues. My book is a non-fiction piece that is part narrative, and part practical advice based on my own lived experiences. It is the publisher's first Dyspraxia book by someone diagnosed pre-primary school, writing about their experiences in their adulthood.
